LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE & ASSUMPTION OF RISK — BACHATA CON PIQUETE FESTIVAL (Nov 23–29, 2026) By reserving, I acknowledge and agree that: 1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION. I am voluntarily joining a six-day travelling festival across the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Santiago, Jarabacoa, Cabarete and Las Terrenas), organised by Bachata Con Piquete Festival (the "Organizer"). 2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. I understand the Festival involves inherent risks including: dance activities (slips, falls, strains), long-distance highway road travel by bus, swimming and water activities, mountain hiking and river excursions, sun and heat exposure, food and drink, and the general risks of international travel — up to and including serious injury or death. I assume these risks voluntarily. 3. HEALTH & FITNESS. I confirm I am in adequate health to participate, will disclose relevant medical conditions to the Organizer before the trip, and will participate within my own physical limits. 4. INSURANCE IS MANDATORY. I will carry valid travel and medical insurance covering the full duration of the Festival. Insurance is not included in the package price. 5. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. I will arrive with a passport valid for the full stay and comply with Dominican Republic entry requirements. 6. PAYMENT & REFUNDS. I accept the published terms: refunds must be requested in writing at least ten (10) days before the start of the event (no later than November 13, 2026); after that date no refunds are issued. Unused portions are non-refundable. Where a deposit is paid, the balance is due in cash at check-in in Santo Domingo on November 23, 2026, and seats with unpaid balances may be released. 7. RELEASE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the Organizer, its staff and instructors, and Book Las Terrenas (booking agent), from claims arising out of my participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. 8. CONDUCT. I will follow the crew's safety instructions during excursions, transport and water activities. The Organizer may remove, without refund, any participant whose conduct endangers themselves or others. 9. MEDIA RELEASE. I consent to photos and video taken during the Festival being used for promotion, revocable in writing for future use. 10. GOVERNING LAW. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, with jurisdiction in the courts of Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional. 11. DIGITAL SIGNATURE. Typing my full legal name below and completing this reservation constitutes my electronic signature. Passport details, emergency contact and insurance policy information will be collected by the Organizer before departure.
