Vendor rules & guidelines

By applying you agree to operate by these rules. We enforce them strictly to protect travelers and every honest vendor on the platform.

  • Honor every confirmed booking. Don't cancel on a confirmed customer except in a genuine emergency.
  • Show up on time and deliver exactly what your listing describes — price, inclusions, meeting point and duration.
  • Keep your listing accurate and your availability up to date.
  • Never take a Book Las Terrenas customer off-platform to avoid commission. This is grounds for immediate removal.
  • Reply to booking messages quickly — within a few hours during the day.
  • Meet all Dominican legal, safety, licensing and insurance requirements for your service.
  • Treat every guest professionally. No harassment, discrimination, or surprise fees.
  • Only collect the balance disclosed to the customer, and honor the posted cancellation policy.
  • Keep your payout and contact details current.

Good-standing guidelines

  • Respond fast and keep a high rating.
  • Use real photos of your own service — never stock or someone else's.
  • Communicate proactively if anything changes or runs late.
  • Provide a receipt or confirmation when guests pay in person.

Violations lead to warnings, suspension, withheld payouts on disputed or fraudulent bookings, and permanent removal. Book Las Terrenas may suspend or remove any vendor or listing at its discretion.

I confirm I'm authorized to represent this business, that the information I've provided is accurate, and that I agree to the vendor rules above, the commission and fee terms, and the cancellation policy shown to customers. I understand these rules are strictly enforced.
